WORKink Alberta (http://ab.workink.com) is a website dedicated to persons with disabilities, Employers, Aboriginals with disabilities, entrepreneurs with disabilities, and career counsellors.

In partnership with the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work, EmployAbilities, Alberta Employment Immigration and Industry, Oteenow Employment and Training, WORKink Alberta delivers a variety of innovative features and benefits to Albertans with disabilities and employers looking to hire from this untapped workforce.

WORKink Alberta has partnered with Service Canada and Alberta Employment Immigration and Industry to host the “Employment Handbook Series for Persons with Disabilities” online. This series offers Tips for Job Seekers, Employers and Services Providers.

Another very interesting and exciting feature is the Online Employment Counselling. This service offers a quick and efficient reference to information on issues dealing with job search strategies, employment goals, and accommodations. Employment coaches are available for assistance through email.

WORKink Alberta’s “Services for Entrepreneurs” section offers an online business plan, a self-assessment quiz and a general information section covering everything from patents to business failures.

Other very powerful features are the articles relating to employment that are featured on WORKink. Information is power and WORKink strives to empower job seekers, career counsellors, and employees alike.
